The new M3 ‘Concept’

As massive fans of the current generation M3 – a car which delivers such a devastating cocktail of performance, practicality, driving pleasure and discreet style – we have mixed feelings about this new model.

More power certainly. But also more weight, more complexity and – frankly – styling that doesn’t look any more resolved than any of Chris Bangle’s other efforts for BMW.

That’s not to say we’re not excited about the prospect of drifting one of these puppies ‘round the Nurburgring sometime soon…
