Trailer for Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds
By The Prodigal Fool, published on 22 February 2009
The trailer for Inglourious Basterds (yes, that’s how they’re insisting on spelling it!), Tarantino’s upcoming, blood-soaked, World War II flick is out and The Guide can’t help liking it. There’s very little to see except for Brad Pitt but the little you do see and the thumping soundtrack gives you a pretty good idea of the vibe of the film.
Is Tarantino’s best work behind him? Pulp Fiction is still the most compelling, inventive film he’s made as fas as The Guide is concerned. Jackie Brown and Kill Bill both had interest but Death Proof was pretty dire.
So, we’ll see soon enough what Inglorious Bastered has in store for us. So far so good though. Congratulations on a kick-ass trailer Quentin!
