Just because: the Lamborghini Insecta Concept

Just because we wanted to push that dreadful Toyota Prius down our homepage, here are some gratuitous shots of the rather stunning new Lamborghini Insecta Concept. Designed by a Romanian design student called Iulian Bumbu, the Insecta is an impressive beast.
The Milan-based designer claims the car is a fusion of the Italian carmaker’s current design language and the exoskeletons of insects. The Guide is impressed. The car is a Lamborghini, but not as we know it. The bug-like quality is there for sure and it creates a really interesting interpretation of Lambo’s look. Those wide-set eyes and winged scissor doors work for us.
