So. Hard. To. Resist.

Regular readers will know what big fans we are of the regular Rolex Sea-Dweller (Hell, we’ve even borrowed it as the mascot of our site!). A very special watch for so many reasons. And for almost all the reasons we love the Sea-Dweller, we dislike its rather gaudy cousin, the Deepsea.

Now it seems it’s the end of the line for the Sea-Dweller that we know and love as Rolex transitions from great to….eh….far from it. It’s discontinuing production of the Sea-Dweller in favour of the vulgar Deepsea.

Meanwhile, one of our favourite sources of pre-owned timepieces, Le Collection’heure in Brussels, has just got in one of the very last Sea-Dwellers to leave the factory. 10/10 condition with box and papers: very nice.

We really love this watch; haven’t got one in our collection yet; and, we have to say, this is very hard to resist indeed. One of the last true Sea-Dwellers in mint condition! We may have to call the bank manager…
