Regular readers know that the Guide isn’t the place to tune into for real-time reporting or live-blogging. Ehh, no. Quite the opposite in fact. We rather prefer to take our time ’round these parts. We like to digest, debate and disagree a fair bit before putting fingers to keys. Plus, you know, we’re lazy (Hell, we completed The Prodigal Run back in November and still haven’t finished writing it up for you!)

Furthermore, while we can’t honestly say that we have a lot of principles, one of them is that we don’t write about watches that we haven’t spent some time hands-on with. As a result, since we didn’t make the trip out there this year, we weren’t planning on bringing you any SIHH 2013 news. But when our good friends at The Watch Gallery called and asked if we’d like them to send us a reel or two of the most stylish watches they spotted being worn at the world’s best watch show, well…how the Hell could we refuse?

So, here for your viewing pleasure – and completely exclusive to The Prodigal Guide – is The Watch Gallery’s ‘Watches & Style at SIHH 2013′.

And if you enjoy that, we urge you to head on over to The Watch Gallery’s site to see their excellent coverage from SIHH in its entirety.

Our editor-in-chief, the self-proclaimed "greatest wit, raconteur and bon vivant of our age", borders on delusional. Over the years, the fool has squandered more money on fast cars, Swiss watches and electronic gadgetry of all kinds than he – or Mrs Fool – cares to remember. Come nightfall, he can invariably be found stumbling out of Dukes mumbling “just one more Martini; I could have handled just one mmmmm… [thud!]”
