What I'd like them to do is announce a range of MeeGo devices that will finally make Apple, Google and HP sit up and take notice. I don't see how Nokia can differentiate itself and ensure a viable long-term future for itself with hardware alone. It needs a proprietary, ass-kicking OS and accompanying ecosystem of services. What I fear is actually going to happen is that they're going to announce a Microsoft partnership. I guess all – or at least some – will be revealed at this Friday’s Nokia Capital Markets Day in London.
